Insight in,
sustainable employability.

Is there (still) a good fit with the job? Do skills match with what is needed to do the job well? Having a good career potential often means continuing to learn and develop in order to be prepared for changing work conditions. In practice this turns out to be quite difficult. Where do you start? The Employability Scan offers insight, but also concrete action-oriented tips to strengthen career potential.

The Scan

Employability Scan

In addition to vitality, mental and physical work ability, employability is an important part of sustainable employability. Sustainable employability, or maintaining career potential, is a joint responsibility. From the employee and from the employer.

Because insight and awareness are always the first step towards change and willingness to learn, Realise has developed the Employability Scan. This scan, in which scientific knowledge has been translated into a practical tool, provides insight into career potential and maps the personal route to being and staying sustainable.

The Employability Scan identifies factors that influence and stimulate sustainable employability:

  • Physical and mental health
  • Developmental space & culture
  • Personal motivations & Capacity-fit
  • Active learning behavior
  • Meaning & meaningful work
  • Self management & Anticipation and optimalization
  • Work ability

Filling in the online questionnaire takes 15 to 20 minutes.

  • Instructive self-reflection on employability and sustainable employability
  • Personal feedback with concrete tips to improve your own employability and sustainable employability.

The Employability Scan can be extended with:

  • Labor market value Scan
  • Career coaching
  • PEP-talk for employees focusing on employability

We are happy to advise you about the application options. The Employability Scan can be used as an instrument in::

  • Learning and development cycle
  • A training or development program
  • A coaching trajectory
  • HR support options
  • Organizational research

After completing the scan, every employee immediately receives a personal feedback report. This report contains:

  • Total score on employability (work capacity)
  • Scores on different elements of sustainable employability
  • General and personal tips and advice
  • An action sheet to write down next steps

When the Employability Scan is used on a large scale, for example as part of a development program or as organizational research, we periodically prepare a reporting dashboard. The dashboard provides insight into the factors that influence the sustainable employability of employees.

The dashboard contains scores on:

  • Organization total
  • Department- and team
  • Function groups
  • Demographics

The scores can be compared:

  • Between groups
  • With the Dutch benchmark
  • Over time (trend display)
